I bought this to use as an adapter to use my S550 to store songs on. And it works perfectly with a 2Gig SD card.
Works great for transferring data (i.e. MP3).

Transfer all your music to an SD card of your choice and leave the rest of the cd changer for movies. I am posting this to confirm that it works with SD cards bigger than 1 GB (mine is 16 GB SDHC) .

I use it to play my MP-3 player through my car Honda navigation radio speakers by way of the aux jack. It will damage the card internally. Works great. Warning: Be careful how you handle it and not allow it to get a shock when you have it in your hand and slide on the the seat fabric getting in or out of the vehicle.
To remove a card after inserted, you must eject the Card Adapter from the computer.
I had been searching for this product in brick and mortar stores only to be informed that they no longer carry it and have no interest in stocking it. I am using this product in tandem with the 8GB memory card that I recently received. I was happy to find it at Amazon and it has met my expectations.
